It has been said that Time and Nature remind us that permanence and
perfection were never meant to be part of the human experience. My present works continue to explore the effects of time and nature and the beauty to be found in the weathered, the worn and the cracked and crumbling . I try to
represent these through texture, muted colors. asymmetry, and
understatement, resulting in what one critic called a blend of abstract
expressionism and Zen minimalism.
